Forbes Digital Tool, Great Places to Live (a joint project between Prodigy and the National School Reporting Service) and NetNoir Online are the latest in The Monster Board's list of strategic alliances. The Monster Board, the Internet's premier career center, provides visitors to these Web sites with free access to more than 50,000 job listings, resume-building and posting capabilities, and career advice.

According to a July Nielsen I/PRO audit, visits to The Monster Board topped 1.1 million for the month. Also according to I/PRO audits, visits to The Monster Board have increased from more than 730,000 in February to more than 1.1 million in July.
Forbes Digital Tool (http://www.forbes.com ) is produced by Forbes Digital Media, the newly launched division of Forbes Inc. The site, which is also featured as a channel on Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, is free to users and covers news and trends in technology, investing, journalism, global business and digital entertainment. Beginning in October, The Monster Board will be the sole provider of jobs and resume building/posting capabilities. This alliance represents the first time that Forbes will be offering employment advertisements.
Great Places to Live (http://www.greatplacestolive.com ) provides information on homes, work, schools and communities to individuals and families who are relocating either as a result of a job change or simply for a change of scenery. Prodigy's members will have access to the site through Prodigy's home page with general access also available through the Internet. Located on the site's Work Area Employment Board, The Monster Board will allow visitors to search for a job and post their resume. Great Places to Live is scheduled to launch at the end of September.
NetNoir Online (http://www.netnoir.com ) is owned by NetNoir Inc. a leading media company that develops, promotes and distributes Afrocentric programming and commercial applications for all forms of interactive media. The Monster Board will provide jobs and resume building/posting capabilities on the site beginning later this month. NetNoir Online, which features stories, cultural information, an events calendar, a personals section and information about personal finance and business, was launched as part of AOL's Greenhouse Program and boasts 500,000 visitors each month and many Fortune 500 advertisers. Access to the site is also available through AOL at keyword NetNoir.
These three alliances are the latest in The Monster Board's growing list of co-branding efforts, which include MCI Telecommunications, Inc., Advertising Age, USA TODAY Online, NBC Interactive Neighborhood, Switchboard and Hoover's. According to Jeff Taylor, TMP's executive vice president, Interactive, all the alliances help The Monster Board provide the most comprehensive, most effective career tools to both active and passive job seekers.
