-
46% voted for "Kitchen"
-
19% voted for "Living Room"
-
12% voted for "Master Bedroom"
-
11% voted for "Basement"
-
9% voted for "Bathroom"
The poll was run in conjunction with Monstermoving.com's second annual "Make Your House a Home" sweepstakes which offered a variety of decorating, remodeling, and home improvement-related prizes, including a grand prize of $10,000. Today, Monstermoving.com announced the official grand prize winner of its "Make Your House a Home" sweepstakes: Sharon Roberto of Peekskill, New York. Ms. Roberto will receive a check for $10,000 to assist in the renovation and decorating of her new home.
Ms. Roberto, who recently relocated from Massachusetts and purchased a home in Peekskill, intends to use her winnings to cover a portion of her closing costs and embark on decorating and home remodeling projects. "The process of settling into a new home is an expensive undertaking, so this prize truly couldn't have come at a better time," said Roberto. "The $10,000 prize will enable me to remodel certain areas of my house -- like the dusty blue bathroom -- while leaving plenty of money to decorate my whole house."
Monstermoving.com's "Make Your House a Home" sweepstakes, which ended October 11, 2002, awarded site visitors a wide variety of home improvement related prizes including weekly $100 gift certificates redeemable at leading home improvement, home decorating and home furnishing retailers.
