Yale University Selects CollegeWare from TMP Worldwide as its Preferred Recruitment Management System

-- Chooses ASP model to Serve Enrollment Needs Citing Superior Functionality, Flexibility, and Low Cost --

NEW YORK, Mar 6, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), the world's leading supplier of human capital solutions, including the pre-eminent Internet career portal Monster(R) and the world's largest Yellow Pages advertising agency, today announced that the Undergraduate Admissions Office of Yale University (www.yale.edu) has selected CollegeWare(TM) as its new recruitment management system.

Yale is among the first universities to select and implement the CollegeWare solution to manage its enrollment operations.

Delivered via an ASP model, TMP Worldwide's CollegeWare is a highly advanced Web-based tool that enables colleges and universities to more effectively and efficiently manage recruitment and enrollment operations and information. By enabling higher education institutions to automate critical on- and offline operations, CollegeWare allows schools to better communicate with, and manage, their "prospect and inquiry" pools of applicants. The system offers a wide range of useful features that help institutions reduce enrollment operations costs and increase efficiencies, and is the only tool that enables them to integrate and manage on- and offline communications with prospective students, such as voicemail, email, letters and enclosures.

"We evaluated many of the solutions currently available to serve the needs of large institutions and found CollegeWare to be the best of breed solution," said Richard Shaw, Dean of Admissions at Yale. "CollegeWare's inherent flexibility and low cost made the decision a simple one."

Since CollegeWare is delivered via an ASP model, upgrades are delivered automatically to schools at no additional cost. In addition, no physical hardware or additional overhead commonly associated with client-server solutions is required. As a result, CollegeWare is priced considerably lower than any other existing solution currently on the market.

"Our decision was based not just upon cost, but also upon the available functionality," added James Nondorf, Director of Student Outreach at Yale. "We wanted a system that would free our admissions representatives from the back-office tasks they face so they could spend more time working directly with students. CollegeWare will allow our staff to do this."

CollegeWare is the newest offering in TMP Worldwide's broad array of online educational properties, which includes FastWeb, CollegeLink, MonsterLearning and MonsterTrak.com. TMP Worldwide's Educational Marketing Group, a full-service advertising agency dedicated solely to the recruiting and enrollment needs of post-secondary educational institutions, developed the CollegeWare solution.

"Having a world-renowned university such as Yale select CollegeWare as its enrollment solution highlights just how powerful and innovative our system really is," said John Meagle, Vice President of Educational Marketing at TMP Worldwide's Advertising and Communications, North America. "We're confident that other schools now looking at CollegeWare will soon recognize the significant cost and functional advantages it has over their existing solutions."
