New York, N.Y. and Santa Clara, CA, October 8, 1997 -- Yahoo! Inc., (NASDAQ: YHOO), and TMP Worldwide (NASDAQ: TMPW) announced a strategic agreement that brings together the world's single largest Internet navigational guide and two of the Internet's leading online recruitment Web sites, The Monster Board (http://www.monster.com) and Online Career Center (http://www.occ.com) (OCC). The Monster Board and OCC, products of TMP's Interactive Division, will be featured in the employment section of Yahoo! Classifieds (http://classifieds.yahoo.com), providing users will access to more than 100,000 quality job listings.

With The Monster Board and OCC, TMP offers Yahoo! Classifieds users an extensive list of full-time job opportunities with quality companies. Once users gain access to The Monster Board or OCC through Yahoo! Classifieds, they will have the ability to research prospective employers, apply to jobs online and store their resumes for potential employers to review.

More than 10,000 of the nation's top employers, including 55 of the Fortune 100 companies, have used TMP's recruitment sites as part of their recruitment strategies. Collectively, The Monster Board and OCC Web sites had nearly two million visits in August, according to Nielsen I/PRO.

Jeff Taylor, executive vice president of TMP's Interactive Division, said the company's goal is to place its clients' job postings and company information in front of as many job seekers as possible.
