TMP Worldwide Welcomes Four New Partners to European Executive Search Division
Hubertus Douglas, John Wittgenstein, Ansgar Dierkes, and Jacqueline Bauernfeind, All Formerly of Spencer Stuart Germany, Join Frankfurt and Munich Offices of TMP Worldwide Executive Search
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 2000--TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW)(ASX: TMP), the leading provider of global recruitment solutions, including the dominant Internet career portal, Monster(R).com, today announced that four new partners will join the company's executive search operations in Germany.
Hubertus Douglas, John Wittgenstein, Ansgar Dierkes, and Jacqueline Bauernfeind all come to TMP Worldwide from Spencer Stuart, the prestigious Chicago-based executive search firm. Mr. Douglas, Mr. Wittgenstein and Mr. Dierkes will join TMP Worldwide in Frankfurt, and Ms. Bauernfeind will be based in the company's office in Munich.

Mr. Douglas will join the company as a Partner in the Global Industrial Sector focusing on national and international search work in the general industrial, automotive, information technology and telecommunications industries. While at Spencer Stuart, he was a member of the firm's Industrial Practice. Earlier in his career, he held a managerial position with one of Germany's major manufacturers in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Mr. Wittgenstein's area of expertise is in financial service and he will join the company as a Partner in TMP Worldwide's Financial Services and Real Estate practice. At Spencer Stuart, he was a member of their Financial Services Practice, and earlier in his career was with Bankgesellschaft in Berlin as the Director and Head of the Corporate Banking Division in North Germany.
Mr. Dierkes joins TMP Worldwide Executive Search to focus on e-commerce and consumer products searches in Germany and throughout Europe. He is a former member of Spencer Stuart's German consultant team, and a former Director of Business Development for a Fortune 500 consumer durables company. Prior to entering the field of executive search, Mr. Dierkes worked for a joint venture in China and spent two years with a large consulting firm in Germany.
Ms. Bauernfeind also joins TMP Worldwide as a Partner in the company's Consumer Products Practice. While at Spencer Stuart, she co-headed the European Consumer Practice and was a member of the Professional Practice Committee. She focused on international searches in the consumer goods and services area. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Ms. Bauernfeind was a senior engagement manager in the German consulting firm, Roland Berger & Partners.
