TMP Worldwide Receives Top Honors At EMA Creative Excellence Awards Ceremony; TMP Captures 78 Awards

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 2001--TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), announced today that it was honored at this year's 2001 Employment Management Association (EMA) Conference. TMP Worldwide received a total of 78 creative excellence awards that included 14 "Best of Category" awards and 64 "Merit" awards. EMA, a professional emphasis group within the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), presents these awards to companies that have demonstrated expertise in corporate branding and human resource management in the recruitment and consumer advertising industries.

This year's awards ceremony, which was held on April 25th in Chicago, reflects a review of the most competitive season to date, with over 1,300 entries submitted for categories ranging from traditional print and broadcast, to new media and the Internet.

For each of the categories, there was one "Best of" winner, and up to three "Merits" given. This year, a total of 165 awards were given to agencies, with TMP Worldwide winning 78 awards.
