TMP Worldwide Launches Newly Redesigned TMP.com

Consolidates Global Operations Under a Single Brand Umbrella and Conveys Greater Synergy and Integration of Core Business Units

NEW YORK, Jul 2, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), the world's leading supplier of human capital solutions, including the pre-eminent Internet career portal Monster(R), today announced the launch of its newly restructured and redesigned website (www.tmp.com).

The new TMP.com utilizes robust technology, coupled with clear and simple design to more effectively communicate the full scope of TMP Worldwide's global business under a single cohesive brand umbrella.

As a primary communicator to existing and potential clients, media, and the investor community, the new TMP.com provides users with richer, more detailed information about the company and its core business units: Monster, Monstermoving, Advertising & Communications, Executive Search, eResourcing and Directional Marketing. Users can visit dedicated areas to learn more about each division and easily link out to other divisions or return to the main TMP site. This greater site connectivity between the company's business units more accurately mirrors the continued real-world integration and synergy between the units, and further calls attention to TMP's cross-selling business strategy. In addition, the site's new design and streamlined navigation enables visitors to more quickly and easily access the information and solutions they need.

"The increasing convergence of our core business units and our continued focus on cross-selling services among existing clients were prime motivators in our decision to establish a new Internet presence for TMP," said Jim Treacy, President and Chief Operating Officer at TMP Worldwide. "Leveraging the in-house knowledge and expertise of our Interactive Group, we put significant time and resources against creating a site that tells our story with a unified clarity, while vividly showcasing our entire spectrum of `Intern to CEO' recruitment solutions. While the old site certainly served its purpose at the time, the new site more accurately reflects the greater cohesion and integration within our corporate structure and communicates in a single voice our unified vision for the future of career and recruitment services."

To better meet the needs of the media and investment communities, two high-traffic areas of the site (Public Relations and Investor Relations) have been significantly enhanced to deliver better functionality and provide a broader array of news and information about the company's operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. TMP's Web development team also designed the new site to comply with major search engine guidelines in order to maximize its presence and position within search engine results pages.

"Above all, we wanted the new site to tell our story in a simple way, and serve as a logical bridge for users exploring our different core business units," said David Rosa, Vice President, Global Brand Manager of TMP Worldwide. "In addition to satisfying the needs of our key external audiences, we believe the new TMP.com will have an equally positive impact internally by helping to foster the cross-thinking and cross-selling that is so vital to our overall business moving forward."
