Christopher Burrows, Former Senior Partner with GKR, Joins TMP Worldwide Executive Search in London

New York, NY - July 9, 2000 - TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW; ASX: TMP), the leading provider of global recruitment solutions, including the dominant Internet career portal, Monster.com, today announced the appointment of Christopher Burrows, formerly a Senior Partner with GKR in London, as Partner in the Global Healthcare and Consumer Products Practices of TMP Worldwide Executive Search in London. He joins to run the company's Health Care and Pharmaceutical practice in Europe and to be a key member of the European Consumer Products practice. He will also partner with other global Healthcare and Consumer Products consultants to increase the flow of cross-border searches around the world.

Mr. Burrows has more than 15 years' experience in executive search. He began his career with Whitehead Mann, spent the last nine years with GKR and holds an MA in Anthropology from Cambridge University.

He is the latest in a number of high-profile executive recruiting professionals to join TMP Worldwide Executive Search. In London, the company has recently hired partners Patricia Tehan and Ian Organ, both formerly partners with Korn/Ferry London who joined Kirsty McAlpine of Highland Search Group, also a partner in the London office. Rick Moore, former Chairman of Russell Reynolds Canada, now leads TMP Worldwide Executive Search in Canada. Bradley A. Stirn, who, along with Mr. Strain, had previously been with Spencer Stuart, heads the company's West Coast search operations.
