Dan Dumitrescu Named President of TMP Worldwide Executive Search, Asia Pacific

SYDNEY, Australia, Sep 17, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), the world's leading supplier of human capital solutions, including the pre-eminent Internet career portal Monster(R), today announced the recent appointment of former Korn/Ferry International executive Dan Dumitrescu as President of Executive Search, Asia Pacific.

Mr. Dumitrescu will report into Stuart McKelvey, Group President of TMP Worldwide, Asia Pacific. He will become a key member of the TMP leadership team with responsibility for growing TMP's presence in the region and enhancing the breadth and quality of executive search services provided to clients around the world.

Mr. Dumitrescu was formerly Vice President, Asia Pacific for Korn/Ferry International where he spent over seven years working with Asia Pacific clients at the most senior Search levels. Throughout his career, Mr. Dumitrescu has broken new ground in the Search world from the development of global Strategic Account Management programs to the championing of integrated services for clients - across Management Assessment, Web-enabled candidate management and Board services.

Before moving into Search, Mr. Dumitrescu spent 14 years with Wang Australia, serving as Managing Director for his last three years and successfully overseeing considerable change. He was involved in a number of global projects including early voice-recognition and workflow software.

He has a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Grenoble, France and worked through the dissertation level for a PhD whilst lecturing at the same University. His further business studies at Macquarie University and the University of Melbourne have complemented his technical and management skills.

Mr. Dumitrescu is a former Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce, and a Director on various Not-for-Profit organisations.
