Former Korn/Ferry Executive named Global Property & Casualty Practice Leader, Global Insurance Practice Co-Leader

Rowe, formerly of Korn/Ferry International, as Global Insurance Practice Co-Leader, Global Property & Casualty Practice Leader, and a Partner in the company's Executive Search New York office.

Mr. Rowe, 42, served as Managing Director in Korn/Ferry International's financial services practice, where he led the firm's Global Insurance Practice. At TMP Worldwide, Mr. Rowe will co-lead the Global Insurance Practice, in addition to leading the company's Global Property & Casualty Practice. TMP's Global Insurance Practice consists of 25 professionals around the world who perform executive search across all sectors of the industry.

Mr. Rowe has performed senior-level searches across all functions, including chief executive, senior general management, finance, actuarial, underwriting, strategic marketing, distribution, information technology, claims and board positions. He has extensive experience in recruiting professionals from the broader financial services arena to bring best practices to key functional areas within the insurance industry. In addition, Mr. Rowe has performed considerable search work in the areas pertaining to specialized underwriting in the alternative risk, finite risk and capital markets areas of insurance and reinsurance.

Before entering the executive search profession, Mr. Rowe was Director of small group sales in the New York area for New York Life, a leading insurance company. During his tenure, he built and managed a group sales operation covering the northeast region.

Mr. Rowe spent six years with Aetna Life & Casualty as Senior Account Executive, focusing on the sales of employee benefit plans to corporations. Before that, he was a Group Representative for Home Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Rowe received a BS degree from Lehigh University in 1982.
