TMP Worldwide Enhances Management Team With Appointment of Global Tax Director
Former Deloitte & Touche Tax Consultant Patrick Harrington Tapped to Establish Long Term Tax Vision and Plan Global Tax Strategy
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 2001--TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), the world's leading supplier of human capital solutions, including the pre-eminent Internet career portal Monster.com(R), and the world's largest Yellow Pages advertising agency, announced today that Patrick Harrington has joined the company as Vice President and Global Tax Director to establish a long term tax strategy for TMP Worldwide. Mr. Harrington will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, Bart Catalane.
A veteran of Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Harrington has vast experience in implementing new tax strategies and tax compliance and reporting systems. Mr. Harrington's background integrates solid management skills with a strong foundation in public accounting and corporate advising on U.S. outbound, inbound and local country issues. In addition, his previous work with the financial oversight of acquisitions and structurings in domestic and international arenas will serve TMP well.

Mr. Harrington brings more than 16 years of national and international experience in taxation and management to TMP Worldwide. While at Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Harrington was instrumental in improving his clients' tax positioning across all U.S. and overseas operations.
