TMP Worldwide Certifies Compliance with FTC Request for Additional Information

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2001--TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), the world's leading supplier of human capital solutions, including the pre-eminent Internet career portal Monster.com(R), announced today that it has certified its compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) second request for information in connection with TMP's pending acquisition of HotJobs.com, Ltd.

The FTC issued the request in August under the notification requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended. TMP has agreed with the FTC that it will not close the transaction prior to January 12, 2002 unless otherwise agreed to by the FTC. TMP expects the transaction to be completed in the first quarter of 2002, and will continue working cooperatively with the FTC as it conducts its review.
