Three Senior Retail and Fashion Recruiters Form Leadership Team for Multinational Cross-Border Searches
New York, NY - April 5, 2000 - TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW; ASX: TMP), the leading provider of global recruitment solutions, including the dominant Internet career portal, Monster.com, and one of the world's largest search and selection agencies, today announced the appointments of Salli LeVan and Jeff Lemming as Global Practice Co-Heads and Michael Boroian as European Practice Leader for TMP Worldwide Executive Search's Retail, Fashion and Luxury Goods Practice. Salli LeVan and Jeff Lemming are based in Atlanta and New York, while Michael Boroian is based in Paris.

Ms. LeVan joined TMP in May 1999 through the merger with her former company Lemming/LeVan, Inc., an executive search firm specializing in Retail/Fashion and related industries. Her practice focuses mainly on identifying senior-level executives for retail assignments for clients ranging from start-up companies to major national corporations. Before entering executive search, Ms. LeVan was an executive at the Abraham & Straus division of Federated Department Stores, and a fine jewelry merchant with Duty Free Shoppers. Ms. LeVan earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and her Master of Arts from the Ohio State University.
Mr. Lemming also joined TMP in May of 1999 and has sixteen years of broad-based executive search experience. He has conducted searches in every functional area of a retail organization, up to and including many CEOs and Board Members in nearly every merchandise category including brick and mortar retail formats, catalog and e-commerce. Mr. Lemming's earlier career in retail included experience as a merchant and in general operations. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University.
Mr. Boroian joined TMP Worldwide Executive Search's Paris office as a partner in 1998. He began his career at Francorp, a U.S.-based management-consulting firm specializing in retail and consumer goods where, over the course of 11 years, he held positions of increasing responsibility culminating in his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining TMP Worldwide, Mr. Boroian was a Managing Partner with Axionis/YDS, an affiliate of Deloitte & Touche, where he spent three years as Managing Partner for the sector of Fashion, Retail and Luxury Goods. Prior to that he was Vice President of Marketing and Development at Sonia Rykiel and Chief Executive Officer/Executive Vice President of a Hermes' U.S. affiliate. Fluent in five languages, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Finance and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from DePaul University in Chicago. Prior to moving to Paris, Mr. Boroian was a Ph.D. candidate in Organization Behavior at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Northwestern University.
