NEW YORK--Jan. 21, 1999-- TMP Worldwide (NASDAQ: TMPW; ASX: TMP), the most comprehensive provider of traditional and online career solutions and the world's largest yellow page advertising agency today announced the acquisition of three European recruitment agencies, further expanding the company's global expertise in both recruitment advertising and search and selection services.

These acquisitions, as well as the acquisition of a New York-based yellow page advertising agency, represent approximately $10 million in annualized commissions and fees for TMP. Two of the acquisitions, Bonde & Schmah as well as PMM Management Consultants, are headquartered in Germany and Sources, SA, is located in France.

These purchases significantly increase our presence in Germany and further establishes TMP as a true market leader in this country.''
