Andrea Wine to Manage Company's Pan-Latin American Recruitment Operations; Stephen R. Strain to Run Executive Search in Europe and Develop European Industry Practices

New York, NY - June 14, 2000 - TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ:TMPW; ASX: TMP), the leading provider of global recruitment solutions, including the dominant Internet career portal, Monster.com, today announced that it would reorganize the leadership of its executive search and selection operations in Latin America and the company's executive search operations in Europe. Effective immediately, Andrea Wine, currently Managing Director of TMP Worldwide Executive Search, Europe, is appointed Managing Director, TMP Worldwide Latin America, with responsibility for developing and leading the company's executive search and selection operations in Latin America. Assuming the post of Managing Director, TMP Worldwide Executive Search, Europe, will be Stephen R. Strain, currently the head of TMP Worldwide's Pleasanton, California office and leader of the company's Technology Practice on the West Coast of the U.S.

Mr. Potter continued, ``In his new role as Managing Director of TMP Worldwide Executive Search in Europe, Steve will focus on cultivating our top-tier executive search niche and building our European Industry Practices and cross-border search capabilities. Before joining TMP Worldwide, he ran Spencer Stuart's high-technology practices in North America and Europe and is known in the industry as a top-notch recruiter and respected business leader.''

Ms. Wine and Mr. Strain will complete the transition to their new roles by the early fall, and each will relocate to a country in their respective regions.

Ms. Wine joined TMP Worldwide in August 1998, through the TMP Worldwide's acquisition of TASA International. She has been an executive recruiter for more than 20 years, completing hundreds of searches across all major industry sectors. Before her appointment as Managing Director, Europe, in February 1999, Ms. Wine also served as Managing Partner of the company's executive search operations in Spain, the UK and Belgium. Over the years, Ms. Wine has studied, lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, Russia and Israel. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Hebrew and holds a B.A. from Tufts University, and an M.A. and MBA from Stanford University.

Mr. Strain joined TMP Worldwide in January 2000. He came to the firm from Spencer Stuart, where he had been a Partner and led both the North American and European High Technology practices. Prior to entering executive search, he held Vice Presidential positions with Seagate Technology, Western Digital and Maxtor Corporation. His early career includes ten years with Hewlett Packard including two international assignments, Europe and Asia Pacific, and as a Director with Advanced Micro Devices. Mr. Strain received his undergraduate degree from Miami University (Ohio). He also has a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of California, Los Angeles' Anderson School of Management.
