TMP Worldwide Added To S&P 500 Index
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2001--TMP Worldwide (NASDAQ: TMPW), the world's leading supplier of human capital solutions, including the pre-eminent Internet career portal Monster.com(R), and the world's largest Yellow Pages advertising agency, announced today that it has been added to the Standard & Poor's 500 Index.
The listing will be effective at the close of trading on a date to be announced by S&P.

TMP will replace CIT Group, Inc., as S&P 500 component Tyco International (NYSE: TYC) is acquiring CIT Group, Inc. TMP will be added to the S&P 500 GICS Advertising sub-industry group and the Services (Advertising/Marketing) industry group.
