New Integration Available Through Monster Government Solutions' QuickHire Streamlines Online Application Process for Federal Government Jobs

Department of Labor is the Company's First Customer to Utilize New Integration

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2004-- Monster Government Solutions, a division of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ:MNST), announced today that its hiring management solution QuickHire is the first commercial software to offer new integration that streamlines the process of applying to federal government jobs online through USAJOBS, the official job site of the United States Federal Government.

The Department of Labor (DOL) is the company's first customer to utilize the new integration. With the integration, interested candidates can log in to the USAJOBS (www.usajobs.opm.gov) or DOL site (http://www.dol.gov/dol/jobs.htm), search for jobs at DOL and immediately apply online. Previously, DOL candidates searching online through USAJOBS had to manually submit a paper application. Now, DOL candidates applying online are transparently redirected to DOL's QuickHire system, called DOORS (DOL Online Opportunities Recruitment System), to complete their application.

"Monster Government Solutions is very pleased to be able to give customers such as DOL the ability to give interested candidates a seamless experience when applying to jobs online," said Chris McCarrick, SVP and General Manager of Monster Government Solutions. "Our new integration not only creates a better experience for the candidate, but ultimately helps agencies hire the best possible candidates for the job."

There are a number of other benefits to candidates with the new integration. Candidates may maintain five resumes on the USAJOBS site to use when applying to jobs online at agencies such as DOL. Additionally, with DOL's approach to integration, applicants only have one username and password to remember since a separate log in to access DOORS is no longer required.

"The new integration is part of a continual commitment by Monster Government Solutions to ensure our QuickHire solution takes advantage of the latest innovations on USAJOBS," added McCarrick. Earlier this year, Monster Government Solutions announced the integration of QuickHire with the tabbed-based job announcement display on USAJOBS. The display presents information in a standard, logical format and makes use of tabs to connect applicants to more-detailed information on job responsibilities, benefits and application procedures.

QuickHire is Monster Government Solutions' Web-based hiring management solution. QuickHire utilizes the Internet to allow government HR professionals to build and post vacancy announcements and develop online questionnaires to evaluate and hire the best candidates. More than 50 customers representing more than 100 federal, state, and local government agencies have chosen QuickHire to automate the hiring process.
