mtvU and MonsterTRAK Join Forces to Help College Grads Land Their First Professional Jobs; MonsterTRAK to Sponsor mtvU Reality Series ''The Opening''; MonsterTRAK Job Opportunities Presented on mtvU.com

NEW YORK and MAYNARD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 2006--mtvU, the 24-hour college network, and MonsterTRAK, a unit of Monster Campus, the student recruitment branch of Monster(R), the leading global online careers property and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ: MNST), today announced an alliance to benefit college students nationwide. On-air, online and on campus, mtvU and MonsterTRAK will provide college students the tools and services they need to help them find their first entry-level job.

As part of the relationship, MonsterTRAK will sponsor mtvU's "The Opening," a series on-air and on demand at mtvU's broadband channel - mtvU Uber - on mtvU.com. The show profiles a day in the life of first-year college graduates in a wide variety of professions, helping college students learn more about different industries and occupations - something many employers found to be lacking among recent graduates. According to MonsterTRAK's Annual Entry-Level Job Outlook(1), 32 percent of employers surveyed think the most common mistake college graduates make during interviews is not conducting enough research about the company and its industry, making "The Opening" a great way for students to get unique insights into various fields. A new season of "The Opening" debuts on mtvU and the network's broadband channel, mtvU Uber, on Wednesday, January 25th. Clips of the show will also be available to subscribers of Verizon Wireless V CAST and other mtvU mobile carrier partners.

"We are pleased to be mtvU's exclusive career content provider and sponsor of 'The Opening,'" said Michelle Forker, Senior Vice President, Monster Campus. "Our mission is to help college students and young alumni navigate through a very important transition in their lives - the shift from academics to a professional career. This series not only provides a snapshot of entry-level jobs across a range of industries, but offers real-life, behind-the-scenes examples of how these newly-employed people spend their day."

"From the moment students step on campus, they're wondering how their college experience is going to translate into their dream job," said Stephen Friedman, GM of mtvU. "We're using every resource of our channel - and working with MonsterTRAK, the industry leader in college and entry-level jobs - to make that a reality."

After each episode, students will be invited to visit MonsterTRAK and mtvU's comprehensive online jobs resource at www.jobs.mtvu.com, where they can immediately apply for jobs profiled on-air, along with other opportunities and internships. The co-branded site will feature a selection of coveted job opportunities for recent graduates, interview advice, salary information, and a job of the week - all the tools and expertise needed to find and apply for that much-anticipated first job. According to the 2005 mtvU Career Study(2), 68 percent of undergraduate students use online job/internship postings, making it the most used job search medium by underclassmen.

This alliance will also reach students on campus by working with the career centers at mtvU's more than 730 partner schools, to provide exciting career opportunities to their students.
