Monster.com's Third Successful Trip to the Super Bowl Pays Off in Record Breaking Traffic; 8.1 Million Job Searches Conducted Following Game

MAYNARD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2001--Monster(R).com once again followed its proven formula during 2001's advertising event of the year: The Super Bowl. Following its success in 1999 and 2000, Monster.com, the leading global online careers site and flagship brand of TMP Worldwide (NASDAQ: "TMPW"; ASX: "TMP"), announced record-breaking traffic figures following CBS's Sunday broadcast of Super Bowl XXXV and the launch of the highly-anticipated advertising campaign, "Job Good. Life Good."

"By returning as a Super Bowl advertiser, we wanted to captivate the large nationwide audience by showing successful moments that define your career and your life, such as the moment you receive your first business card," said Jeff Taylor, CEO of Monster.com. "Our traffic figures following the game are an important indication as to the success of our campaign; we measure the strength of the traffic figures in three ways: the number of resume submissions, job searches, and job postings. Based on the traffic figures following this year's Game, including an astounding 42,556 resume submissions, the launch of the "Job Good. Life Good." campaign was a Monster success."
