(NASDAQ: TMPW), today announced that recent Media Metrix site traffic numbers validate its placement as the leader in the online careers category. According to independent research, Monster.com recorded 55.1% of career eyeball minutes during February and was the 64th most visited domain overall on the Internet.
According to independent research conducted by Media Metrix for the month of February, Monster.com is the number one destination for career seekers. Monster.com maintained its stronghold this month with an average of 28.6 page views per user and a power ranking** of 188.8 -- more than five times that of its closest competitor's power ranking of 36.3. Monthly unique visitors to Monster.com increased from 3.57 million a year ago to 5.66 million for February 2001, an increase of 59%. Additionally, the total resumes in the resume database have nearly tripled in the last year, from three million resumes in February 2000 to 8.8 million total resumes today.
