Complementing its growing site traffic numbers, Monster.com garnered several awards during the month of April, continuing its role as an innovator in the career management industry as well as the brand leader worldwide.
According to independent research conducted by Media Metrix, Monster.com is the number one destination for career seekers. Monster.com maintained its stronghold this month with an average of 30.1 page views per user and a power ranking(2) of 198.7 - more than 3 times that of its closest competitor's power ranking of 50.2. Monthly unique visitors to Monster.com increased from 3.5 million a year ago to 5.7 million for April 2001, an increase of 63 percent.

Traffic figures released by Nielsen/NetRatings position Monster.com as the most visited commercial career site in France, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. Meanwhile, the number of resumes posted on Monster's European sites reached a staggering 660,000 at the end of April, while 'My Monster' accounts across the region surpassed 1.2 million. In the first four months of 2001 alone, European resumes and 'My Monster' accounts rose by more than 50%.
