Monster.com also reached the 10 million job seeker accounts milestone, adding 4 million new accounts since March. To date, Monster.com boasts a resume database containing more than 6 million unique resumes and over 450,000 job opportunities from thousands of companies.

According to independent research conducted by Media Metrix, Monster.com is the number one destination for career seekers and the 82nd most visited domain overall on the Internet. The number of unique visitors who logged onto Monster.com from home increased 87 percent from 1.8 million in October 1999 to 3.4 million in September 2000, more than double the unique audience of its nearest competition. Nielsen//NetRatings began tracking unique visitors who logged onto Monster.com from work in January 2000. Measuring at work users, the number of visitors has jumped nearly 12 percent from 1.9 million in January to 2.2 million in September.
