The resume postings for the first 11 days in January 2001 are up 51% versus the first 11 days in December 2000. Accompanying the resume posting record, Monster.com also announced it reached the 12 million job seeker accounts milestone, as job seekers flock to the site to view from over 450,000 job postings.

December 2000 Media Metrix results confirm Monster.com's standing as the leading global online careers site with 53.8% of career eyeball minutes. According to independent research conducted by Media Metrix, Monster.com is the number one destination for career seekers with a power ranking(1) of 139.7 -- more than 4 times that of its closest competitor's power ranking of 34.9. Monster.com's power ranking is greater than that of its nine closest competitors combined. Monster.com achieved a reach of 4.9 percent, an average of 28.5 pages viewed per user, and 3.9 million monthly unique visitors for December 2000.
