Monster Names Two New Vice-Presidents of Business Development
MAYNARD, Mass., Sep 25, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Monster(R) today announced the appointment of Rodney H. Adams and Bob Van Olst to the positions of Vice President of Business Development for the United States. In their roles, Adams and Van Olst will work with the sales organization to enhance Monster's relationship with employers and further develop its customer-focused services. Adams and Van Olst will be responsible for working with the Monster sales team to develop extensive relationships at the executive level within Fortune 1000 companies. They will develop Monster's customer focused initiatives, strengthening client relationships by offering products and services that best serve employers' strategic recruiting needs.

Adams joins Monster with over twenty years of sales, professional services, consulting, strategic planning, and project management experience. Prior to joining Monster, Adams ran his own company, Adams and Associates, which was an independent consultancy focusing on strategic planning, project management and organizational development. Prior to Adams and Associates, Adams was Director of Business Development at Robbins-Gioia, LLC, where he established a new regional office and developed relationships with major airlines, insurance and government accounts while building a presence in the Atlanta marketplace. Adams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, the Technology Association of Georgia, the Atlanta Electronic Commerce Forum, Sales and Marketing Executives and the National Sales Network.

Van Olst ran his own retained executive search practice, RVO Search, which worked with a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Van Olst served as a Captain in the US Army after graduating from Lafayette College and also obtained his MA in Human Resources from The New School for Social Research.
