Monster Government Solutions Launches New Business Intelligence Module to Streamline Reporting for Federal Agencies

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 2005--Monster Government Solutions, a business unit of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ:MNST), announced today the launch of a new business intelligence module for its enterprise hiring management solution QuickHire that will allow federal agencies to conduct real-time analysis and reporting on their hiring initiatives.

Monster Government Solutions is currently working with select customers to pilot the new module, which will be generally available in the fall. The module will allow Monster Government Solutions' customers to easily create, view and distribute reports on critical human capital initiatives such as the 45-day hiring model and race and national origin reporting.

"The principal benefit our new Business Intelligence module is that it will provide government agencies with the ability to continually analyze HR performance," said Chris McCarrick, SVP and General Manager of Monster Government Solutions. "Such detailed analytics will enable agencies to make important business decisions to improve hiring cycle time, regulatory compliance, and the overall quality of applicants."

Monster Government Solutions is working with business intelligence industry leaders Claraview and MicroStrategy to develop the new QuickHire module. MicroStrategy's business intelligence software will serve as the underlying platform for the module, selected for its user-friendly reporting features, scalability and security.

QuickHire is Monster Government Solutions' Web-based hiring management solution. QuickHire utilizes the Internet to allow government HR professionals to build and post vacancy announcements and develop online questionnaires to evaluate and hire the best candidates. More than 60 customers representing more than 100 federal, state, and local government agencies have chosen QuickHire to automate the hiring process.
