Last month, Monster led the career category by a wide margin, according to comScore Media Metrix and Nielsen//NetRatings. The 13.4 million unique visitors to Monster during the month of September, according to comScore Media Metrix, tripled the closest competitor's total of 4.4 million unique visitors. Additionally, according to Nielsen//NetRatings, Monster received 12.9 million unique visitors, more than three times that of its closest competitor's 3.7 million unique visitors. Monthly unique visitors to Monster increased from 7.2 million during September 2001 to 13.4 million for September 2002, an increase of 86 percent.
