Monster and Shorn Entertainment Unveil Season Premiere of Cube Fabulous, Transforming a Workspace from Boring to Bling

Business Editors/Technology Editors

MAYNARD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2006--Monster(R) and Shorn Entertainment today announced the season two launch of Cube Fabulous, the popular broadband TV office makeover show, with an episode that transforms a Manhattan real estate agent's cubicle into a hip-hop themed haven. Monster, sponsor and co-producer of Cube Fabulous, is the leading global online careers and recruitment resource and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNST).

Isaac Betancourt, this season's first makeover recipient, is a Manhattan-based real estate agent and hip-hop fanatic who aspires to become a music producer. Isaac's passion for music, and the popularity of his Cube Profile among CubeFabulous.com visitors, led to his selection for this season's premier episode. Fitting with his personality, Isaac's cube was decked out in hip-hop fashion with leopard prints, an iPod(R) turntable sound system and a gold throne. Isaac's Cube Fabulous makeover episode airs this week, at www.cubefabulous.monster.com. This season's episodes will be syndicated online via Broadband Enterprises, LLC, to numerous Web sites, including Warner Bros., Lycos, Top TV and Bytes.

"Cube Fabulous is the greatest thing to ever happen to me at work - I couldn't be happier with my new blinged-out space! I'm now the envy of all my co-workers," said Isaac. "On top of that, I can't complain about having to work late once in a while."

"The overwhelming response we received to the Cube Fabulous casting call - including nearly 1,000 Cube Profile submissions - is a testament to the fact that Monster is a trusted destination for all things work-related, whether it's a new job or a new cube," said Diana Nicholson, Senior Vice President, Consumer Products, Monster. "Additionally, Cube Fabulous, which represents Monster's entry into broadband TV, has helped us connect with consumers in a new and exciting way, as demonstrated by the over 1.5 million video impressions we've received already and the thousands of new resumes and accounts garnered by the campaign."

There will be five more episodes included in season two airing on www.cubefabulous.monster.com from now through December 15. The second episode of this season is scheduled to launch in early-November and will feature the transformation of an advertising professional's cubicle from drab to "Cowgirl Corral" chic. Monster and Shorn Entertainment are holding a rolling casting call for upcoming episodes, at the online "Cube Casting Couch," located at www.cubefabulous.monster.com, where visitors can create their own Cube profile and vote for their favorite makeover candidates.

"Cube Fabulous is about promoting creativity and individuality in the workplace by making people feel comfortable and motivated at work," said J. Scott Berman, creator of Cube Fabulous and Founder/CEO of Shorn Entertainment. "Our alliance with Monster has helped raise the visibility of the program, allowing us to help cubicle dwellers realize that they can 'defy cubicle conformity' by bringing their own personality into their work space."

In addition to the season two launch of Cube Fabulous, Monster is currently accepting entries into its Tech Fabulous Office Makeover Contest. Hosted at Monster.com, the contest will provide five winners with a $2,500 prize package that includes an HP(R) notebook computer and color printer, Blackberry(R) PDA, a foot massager and a mini fridge. To enter, prospective contestants can visit www.cubefabulous.monster.com.
