Internet Advertising Pioneer Rick Boyce Joins Monster as
MAYNARD, Mass. – April 5, 2010 – Monster.com®, the leading job matching engine and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW) today announced that Rick Boyce has joined the company as vice president of advertising sales. An internet advertising pioneer and long-time industry veteran, Boyce will apply his considerable experience and passion for the business to drive results across Monster’s advertising business.

Prior to joining Monster, Boyce was the SVP of business development for Rooftop Media. Boyce is best known for his work as the founding sales director at Wired Digital, the web companion to Wired magazine. There he led the team that sold the first internet banner ads in 1994. When Wired Digital was acquired by Lycos, Rick led ad sales there before becoming president and head of sales for IGN Entertainment. Rick has also been an advisor and officer for numerous ad agencies and digital start-ups.
Rick has also been recognized by the industry as a true thought leader and was inducted to the Advertising Age Interactive Hall of Fame in 2000 and was a Board Member with the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) from its founding in 1996 until 2002.
