NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun. 20, 2012--
The Marussia F1 Team is now hiring for an entry-level position that
promises to change the life of the successful candidate and has teamed
up with Monster(R), the worldwide leader in successfully connecting
people to job opportunities and the flagship brand of Monster
Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW), to find the best international talent.
This spot is the third of four global “Cool Jobs” the Marussia F1 Team
is hiring for this year as part of its alliance with Monster. In
addition, the companies are working together to fill a multitude of
other jobs that will impact the commercial and technical success of the
team.
The new Junior Technician will be based at the team’s technology centre

and to develop the competence and confidence to support the Marussia F1
Team at the track. In addition, the successful candidate will grow into
working with the Aerodynamics, Research & Development and Stores teams.
The Marussia F1 Team will be accepting applications through the end of
July, so those who are interested are urged to apply immediately at http://monstercooljobs.com.
“This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to build a career in
Formula One. This person will have the chance to learn from the best in
the business, enjoy the excitement of the races and be part of a
close-knit, growing team,” noted Katie Allen, Head of HR, Marussia
F1 Team. “Yes, we’re looking for someone with strong technical aptitude,
but moreover, we’re looking for someone who can learn and adapt, is cool
under pressure, and is a good communicator – which is critical when
you’re part of a team like ours.”
In addition to the Junior Technician job, the Marussia F1 Team is hiring
for a range of different positions, sourcing talent from across Europe.
In its work with Monster, the team has already hired nine new members
who are already making important contributions to the team – these roles
include two Design Engineers, a Garage Technician, a Travelling
Composite Technician and an Electronics Engineer.

great job fit, or get a foot in the door within a particular sector or
business, but it’s important for all job seekers to remember that there
are always opportunities out there,” said Ted Gilvar, Executive Vice

About Marussia F1 Team
The
Marussia F1 Team is a young and ambitious Anglo-Russian challenger
competing in the FIA Formula One World Championship.
Headquartered at the new Marussia Technical Centre in Banbury, UK, the
team is majority-owned by the Russian supercar marque, Marussia, based
in Moscow.
With just two seasons of F1 competition under its belt, the team has
enjoyed an extraordinary journey. It was founded in 2009, under the
Resource Restriction Agreement that has redefined the sport’s commercial
landscape, paving the way for exciting new entrants to challenge
tradition and expectation. The Marussia F1 Team has been in the vanguard
of a new era of Formula One, harnessing the commercial firepower of Sir
Richard Branson’s Virgin group of companies, one of its founding
partners, to establish an innovative racing team concept for the future.
Technically, the team has experienced the rollercoaster ride that one
might expect from the initiation of a young new team into such a tough
and highly competitive sport. In only its second season however, with
ambitious targets for the future firmly in its sights, the team entered
into a long-term technical partnership with McLaren Applied
Technologies, which enables the Marussia F1 Team to benefit from access
to advanced facilities which are already helping the team produce a
competitive racing car for the 2012 season.
As for the team’s longer term ambitions, 2014 will see the introduction
of a Russian Grand Prix to the race calendar. It goes without saying
that success on home asphalt in the Black Sea resort of Sochi is the
end-game for the next exciting phase of the Marussia F1 Team journey.
