(NASDAQ: TMPW). Alexis M. Herman, U.S. Secretary of Labor during President Clinton's second term, will write a special monthly column for various Monster.com communities.

"Alexis is the ultimate career counselor, having spent her entire adult life advocating employment, training and diversity opportunities for all workers," said Jeff Taylor, CEO of Monster.com. Herman's first column, "Is America suffering from a dot complex?" will appear as part of the just launched Shakeout 2001 (http://internet.monster.com/specialreport), a special area within Monster.com dedicated to providing support, resources and advice for workers affected by the dotcom fallout. Other columns will explore the changing dynamics of the workplace, the new "face" of work, the emerging trends linked to work/family issues, and other important topics facing workers and employers today.

"The internet is a powerful . . . and surprisingly personal way to communicate today. That's why I'm delighted to share my thoughts and ideas about work and worker issues with the Monster.com community," Alexis Herman said.
