Federal Government Job Site Managed by Monster Government Solutions Receives Industry Award for Innovative Technology; U.S. Office of Personnel Management's USAJOBS Site Recognized by the American Council for Technology

MCLEAN, Va., Jun 06, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Monster Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ: MNST), announced today that U.S. Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) USAJOBS site, the official job site of the Federal Government, was awarded a 2005 Intergovernmental Solutions Award by the American Council for Technology.

OPM's USAJOBS site, managed by Monster Government Solutions, was one of four federal programs selected to receive the award for demonstrating commitment to progress through technology. USAJOBS, found at www.usajobs.gov, was chosen from among 60 government entries for the award.

Monster Government Solutions re-engineered and relaunched the USAJOBS site in 2003. Since that time, Monster Government Solutions has been enhancing the online experience to provide job candidates with clearer, more instructive information pertaining to Federal job postings. Enhancements have included design upgrades, improved search options, a resume builder optimized for Federal hiring, streamlined job announcements, and integration into major Federal Agency systems that significantly improves the Federal hiring process.

"Monster Government Solutions is very proud to have contributed to the success of USAJOBS," said Chris McCarrick, SVP and General Manager of Monster Government Solutions. "Our mission is to help the government attract the top talent in the market, and this award is evidence that we are delivering on that mission."

Since relaunched by Monster Government Solutions, USAJOBS has attracted more than 139 million visitors and more than 1 million job seekers have applied online to Federal jobs through the USAJOBS site. In April, USAJOBS also reached an all time high in customer satisfaction as reported by the American Consumer Satisfaction Index. USAJOBS received a score of 79, outperforming the entire federal government's aggregated score of 72.1 as well as many private sector sites.
