According to independent research conducted by Media Metrix, Monster.com is the number one destination for career seekers and the 45th most visited property(a) overall on the Internet. Monster.com maintained its stronghold this month with a reach(b) of 7.8 percent, an average of 33.3 pages viewed per user, and a record high power ranking(c) of 259.7, more than double its four closest competitors' power rankings combined. Monthly unique visitors to Monster.com increased from 4.47 million during July 2000 to a record 7.2 million for July 2001, an increase of 61%. Monster.com Hires Chief Customer Officer -
Monster.com announced on July 20th that Jeffrey Lewis has been named Chief Customer Officer. In this newly created position, Jeff will oversee and develop strategies that foster and nurture a more responsive relationship between Monster.com and its customers: employers and job seekers. As chief customer officer, Jeff will work to create a more focused structure for Monster.com's sales force and customer service representatives, which will allow them to address the needs of their customers more effectively. Additionally, he will be responsible for enhancing Monster's customer experience for current and future customers. Jeff will report to Steve Pogorzelski, Group President - Sales, Marketing and Customer Relations.
